Kirstie Alley has re-teamed with Jenny Craig weight loss company for a second time in order to lose 30 pounds.
The actress worked as a Jenny Craig spokesperson from 2004 to 2007 and lost 75 pounds. However, she did gain weight when she stopped working with the company in 2007. Now she is determined to get back in shape.
”I was good for awhile and then I wasn’t good, and the weight crept up. Like I say in the ad, I’m not circus fat. I didn’t hugely screw up. I didn’t gain 75. I gained 30,” Alley told People magazine.
”I love that you have a consultant. It’s like being an athlete. No athlete is going to do well without having a coach. We have to equate that to life. Without a coach helping us along the way, I don’t think someone can make it for the long haul,” she added.
I love Kirstie Alley and I wish her well. At age 63 she will be the perfect spokeperson for a generation who have lost weight only to regain it. We can identify with her struggles. Its so easy to lose weight when you are young, and so hard when you are old, so I know I will be watching her and identifying with her struggle, All the best to Kirstie, and never be afraid to defend your religion either. Don’t let anyone silence how you feel whether they agree of not.
Kirstie Alley’s own weight loss system is a big fail. Her TV show was a flop. But like the rest of us now she needs the money and to lose weight so what better way to kill to birds with one stone by taking her celebrity to the ridiculously priced Jenny Craig and not only sell her own company’s ‘vitamins’ through but to get to lose weight for free and get paid nicely to do it? Bottom line…money.
I never changed my diet but this COLD LONG Winter got me stapled to the couch.
Gained 17 pounds. It’s not JUST calories, I probaly ate 1100 cals a day, but burned off nada! Seeing my side profile in the mirror, pregnancy came to mind but…. As a 68 year old Male, I kinda thought ..Not likely.
Walking lately. Hey… a pound a week equals 17 pounds in 17 weeks right?
