If she had to choose between family and acting career Kristin Cavallari would always put her family first. The Hills star said: “It’s easy to get wrapped up in your career and have that be your only focus, and I want my marriage to work and last. To me, family will always come first.”

She is very devoted to her fiance who plays for Chicago Bears and their child so she is willing to do what it takes to spend more time with them.  “I’ve passed on a couple of things that would have kept me here in L.A. because my fiance Jay has to be in Chicago, so if I was here, we would never see each other,” Kristin explained.

At the moment she is not working on any TV or movie project but she is keeping herself busy with the design work for Chinese Laundry’s shoe line. “The design work is great because I can do most of it from Chicago and I have so much fun with it. I love it and it all works out,” the actress says. However, she still doesn’t want to say anything about the wedding plans. “All I’ll say is we’re planning a big summer wedding, but I’m keeping it a secret.”
