Lea Michele is thankful to Kate Hudson for helping her after Cory Monteith‘s death.
Cory died from an overdose in his hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, in July and Lea was devastated after hearing of her boyfriend’s tragic death. Hudson was the one who helped her by giving the Glee star a place to stay.
”I called her and said, I don’t know where I’m going to go because my house is swarmed with reporters. She was like, ‘Oh, you’re going to stay at my house.’ Like it was nothing. She let my family stay there, and any of my friends. She made sure that in the refrigerator were my favorite juices. I’ll never really be able to thank her, truly, for what she did for me,” Lea told Elle magazine.
The 27-year-old star still finds it hard to deal with Cory’s death but feels that it’s important to talk about her situation and maybe help other people. She said: ”It’s very hard and you have to be very strong to come out of this alive, but I think by doing the best for myself, by showing that you don’t have to lose yourself, maybe someone else will feel some sort of strength or comfort.”
Condolences to Lea and I ma happy Kate Hudson was there to support her. I like both actresses. They are just adorable and play their roles brilliantly. Sad story with Cory. However, this is the way drug doers end – most of them. This is sad how people kill themselves. So young and dies so foolishly! Kate is a great friend and acted as real friends do in need. I can understand Lea how grateful to Kate she is. Lea, this is what for friends exist – to support you when you are down and in grief!
