Leonardo DiCaprio spends $5.2m on a house

leonardo-dicaprio Leonardo DiCaprio has reportedly purchased a 7,000 sq ft mansion in Palm Springs, California. The Wolf of Wall Street star spent $5.2 million on his new home, which was once owned by the late singer/actress Dinah Shore.

The house was designed by architect Donald Wexler. It was built in 1965 and, although it’s been fully renovated, it still features mid-century architecture.

The luxurious mansion boasts six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a pool, tennis court and detached gym.

The sellers, Ben Lipps and his wife Jude, bought the estate for $4.9 million in April 2011. The home was offered for $5.5 million Jan 16 and was promptly purchased by the actor for $5.2 million.

I am happy Leo has done the purchase he wanted. Such a talented and good earning man deserves to live in a nice house. So, why not spending such a considerable sum of money on a house of his dreams! His general we all fare is over 200 millions dollars, so why not spending a little part of it on buying a nice house? If I had so much money, I wouldn’t refuse my likings too. This is I natural for humans to get what they want when they can afford it.
