Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio have worked together on several movies, including the latest box office hit, The Wolf of Wall Street, and Leo is hoping they will team up again soon.
The actor wants his next role to be in a biopic about the 26th US President Theodore Roosevelt and hopes to get Scorsese to direct.
A source told RadarOnline.com: ”Leo is telling friends that after his latest movie proved to be a massive box office hit, he’s pushing forward with his biopic of Roosevelt which will re-team him with Martin Scorsese. He says it’s ‘now or never’ as he’s patiently waited almost a decade for the money to materialize.”
DiCaprio will have to gain weight in order to play Roosevelt, but the source says he’s up for the challenge.
”He’ll do whatever it takes. This is the movie Leo wants to win an Oscar for, and he talks about it all the time,” the insider added.
DiCaprio is a very talented actor. He is very good and his last work Wolf of Wall Street is a genius role play, I hope he gets Oscar Award for it. The idea to shoot Roosevelt biopic is gorgeous in my eyes and I cannot see anyone playing it better than Leonardo DiCaprio. They already proved with Martin Scorsese they are a great team and make cool movies. So, I would like this idea to be fulfilled in future. I wish all the best and much success to this new tandem.
Roosevelt biopic with DiCaprio? What can be better? I like the heights that DiCaprio puts in front of hm. He is definitely a very talented and bright actor and a very sexual and handsome man. Besides, Leonardo has chosen a great film director to team up with for the bestselling movie productions. I hope he gets and Oscar soon. He simply deserves it, but the reaction of the crowd is unpredictable.
