On Tuesday (July 30), Daily Mail photographers spotted Lindsay Lohan leaving the Cliffside Malibu Rehab Center in California. However, according to sources the troubled actress wants to spend a few days in a transitional facility.

Sources close to the actress have said she has requested to spend another three-four days in another facility. The reason for this is because she feels she needs a transition period before leaving. The insiders say that Lindsay is determined to really clean up this time and so she would like to stay at a “lower level, sober living house”.

A different source spoke to TMZ and commented on the severity of her addiction prior to entering rehab. They said “it’s like invasion of the body snatchers” and that “she’s a different person” when under the influence.

Lohan has a lot of experience with rehab but she never managed to truly clean up her act. The 27-year-old actress has a history of erratic behavior which started in 2007. Since then she has been arrested countless times; served jail time and faced dozens of charges. Her latest rehab was court-ordered and lasted for 90 days. She has decided to return to New York now she is out of rehab.
