Actress Margot Robbie, who stars alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese’s new movie The Wolf of Wall Street, lied to her family about her nude scenes in the film.
The Australian actress was worried about how her family members might react to seeing her naked onscreen and because of that she didn’t tell them the whole truth right away.
She says, “I just flat-out lied to my family for a really long time, and I said, ‘I don’t care what you hear, there is no nudity, I’m not doing any nudity. Ignore anything anyone’s saying…'”
Not wanting to share all the details about her scenes in the movie with her family, Margot did change her story a bit at some point. “I changed that and the lie evolved to, ‘Actually, it’s a body double and they just CGI’d (computer generated) my head onto someone else’. My family don’t have anything to do with the entertainment industry, so they totally bought it,” she said.
However, Robbie finally decided to come clean and told her family that they shouldn’t watch the movie if they couldn’t cope with seeing her naked. She explained: “I said, ‘Read the book first and if you still wanna see the movie after reading the book, Ok’.”
Heheheh! Well, this is I not the first case when a daughter doesn’t want her parents to see he naked on screen. Well the entire country can and she is not shy, while she is shy in front of her close ones. What is wrong with the world? Why many celebrities are afraid of this? They are afraid of being judged by their close ones? I believe that none can support you and understand you better than your family, do you agree?
I guess it was pretty hard for Margot, and I perfectly understand her, I guess if my father would know that I am supposed to perform in a nude scene than he would totally kill me for even thinking about it, but from the other side that is Hollywood, you cannot perform in a movie if you are not up to all of its parts. No one said that being an actress is easy, while everyone else thinks that being an actress is a piece of cake, well I can totally say that it is not, as you are supposed to work hard and to say no to many of your life’s principles as well to a variety of things you really love to do or even eat. I feel sorry for the poor girl, and at the same time I respect her for the fact that she went for it and that she really shined in this movie, bravo there you go girl, keep going this way and one day you will become a great actress. As working with such a master as Martin Scorsese means a huge push towards becoming one of the best actresses in Hollywood, as well as one of the most beautiful, or desired women of the world one day for sure.
Mmm, I guess Margot Robbie did thought about all of the consequences before agreeing to perform this role, and it is important not to forget who her partner in the movie is. Mmm, I think I would do the same thing if I were on her place. I guess every single girl, lady or woman was at least a bit in love with Leonardo di Caprio after watching the movie “Titanic”, maybe I still am in love with him for a little bit. So I kinda feel a bit jealous on Margot she got a really good man due to the movie. As far as I know those two are dating now, so she won her Jack Pot with this movie. As about parents and family, well if they truly love her than they will understand why she has done what she done, maybe not now, maybe they will need some time for it, but for sure they will understand it later.
Good job Margot, getting into bed with Leonardo and getting paid for it, wow you really are a lucky one. I would even pay for it, not to mention getting paid. I am joking of course. All I want to say is that I am happy for Margot and Leo, and hope they will manage to stay together for much longer than it is a habit in Hollywood, they really do look great and happy together. And I hope that Leo will finally commit and create a family, there is something about him that makes me think that he is a deeper person than all the other bachelor of Hollywood, he really is a family man, and he deserves to find his happiness finally.
