Mark Wahlberg: I’m the most successful white rapper turned actor

mark-wahlberg-afi-fest-2013-presented-by_3950737 Back in 1991, Mark Wahlberg went by the name ‘Marky Mark’ and released his No.1 debut single ‘Good Vibrations’. Today, he is a successful actor and producer and claims he is the most successful white rapper turned actor.

In an interview with Global Grind TV, Mark said: “I’m the best white rapper-turned actor,” Wahlberg said. “Eminem did a great job in 8 Mile, but he only made one movie so I definitely have that title.”

“Will Smith really does his thing and I think if Tupac was alive he would have been doing some amazing things in front of the camera. Obviously his life was cut way too short, I would have loved to seen him continue to grow as an actor,” Wahlberg added.

Mark Wahlberg is one of my favorite actors. I even cannot tell why, but I like him do much. Still it was news for me to get to know he is a rapper, who turned an actor. Wow, now I need to look for his CDs, but I am not a fan of rap. Though, it would be interesting to hear Mark’s rap. I agree with Mark Eminem acted pretty good on 8 Mile and I am sure Tupac would have been a great actor, but left this world so early.

Strange enough I didn’t know that Mark Wahlberg was a white rapper. Wow I would be happy to listen to his tracks too. I like him as an actor though. I like his acting in 2 Guns and Ted. This was hilarious. This dude really knows how to make us laugh and acts very truly. I simply like this guy!
