Pain and Gain actor Mark Wahlberg admitted he loved watching the cancelled reality TV series Jersey Shore but he was hiding it from his children. ”I enjoyed watching ‘Jersey Shore’ when my kids weren’t around, it’s one of those things you can’t turn off,” the actor said.
Just like the Jersey Shore guys were into working out at the gym and building their muscles, Mark also had to get in shape for his latest movie but even though it looked great, he suffered some injuries and his wife wasn’t happy about that. ”At first she was excited to see me get fit. But then she realized I’m not young anymore. I got tears in both shoulders and a couple of herniated discs,” he said.
But heavy workout wasn’t the only problem for Wahlberg while working on Pain and Gain. He had to get spray tans too and he hated it. ”The director insisted I be as tan as possible. So, he’d make me get a spray tan. I’d do it on my balcony of my hotel room, which was on the 17th floor. You would think you’d be free from all the cameras and paparazzi, and there I was getting photographed in my underwear getting a spray tan. Not a good look.”
