Michael Douglas: Matt Damon is a tender kisser

michael_douglas_and_matt_damon_630490 Speaking about filming Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra, Michael Douglas revealed that Matt Damon is a tender kisser. The two of them filmed some very controversial gay love scenes and Matt previously said he imagined Michael’s wife Catherine Zeta-Jones while kissing him.

”Matt says when he kissed me, he thought of Catherine. She was very pleased by that … I thought of Matt. There was tenderness about him. The way he kissed,” Douglas said.

The 68-year-old actor also called Matt brave for taking on that kind of role at the peak of his success. He explained: ”When Steven Soderbergh told me Matt wanted to play Scott I thought, ‘Wow, that’s brave’. It’s my time to do what I want, but he is Mr. ‘Bourne Identity’, in the prime of his leading-man career. Matt’s in a group of really impressive, willing to take chances. It surprised me – in a good way.”
