In his fruitful career Michael Douglas has starred in lots of movies and has filmed quite a few love scenes so he used to take special precautions to make sure that everything stays in its place. The actor has revealed he was always afraid his manhood would fall out during the shooting of intimate scenes and that’s why he used to sew up his underwear.

He told GQ magazine: ”I used to sew my underwear up. You know the little gap at the front of your briefs? Just sew that up so nothing can pop out unexpectedly.”

Speaking about love scenes, Michael also said that they are carefully planned. ”Those love scenes might look like impulse, but I wasn’t some sort of rampant exhibitionist. A great love scene is really an issue of being comfortable with the ladies in front of the camera. It’s all about preparation and rehearsal. You practice, talk it through step by step,” he said.
