Talking to Jay Leno, Michael Douglas has revealed that his son Dylan wants to become an actor. The teenager has been trying to convince his father to help him pursue acting career.
“Dylan doesn’t see any reason to do anything else because he wants to act. He doesn’t want to go to school or anything, he wants to be an actor,” Douglas said.
“But he was at me the other day, he said, ‘Look Dad, I’ve been president of my sixth grade, my seventh grade, I’m in eighth grade now and I’m president of the school’. I said, ‘Dylan, I know, I’m so proud of you’. He said, ‘Dad, I’ve been on the honor roll for two years straight… You’ve seen me in Oliver when I played the Artful Dodger’. I said, ‘I couldn’t see anyone else, Dylan, you were great’. So he says to me, ‘Dad, how about throwing me a bone?’ So I said, ‘Sure, Ok, we’ll work on it’. So he’s negotiating with me.”
I have always beloved that talented people appear from talented parents and it is so! I am happy That Douglas’s son is negotiating with his father to get what he wants. I am sure he will make a great actor. However, I think he needs to graduate from school and I know Michael I of the same thought. Through him a bone!
As rule, children of successful parents want to follow their way. Why not? However, everything in its time and when there is a will there is a way. Still to become an actor requires talent and If Michael’s son has inherited this from him, then he ought to go in for acting!
