Miley Cyrus concert banned in the Dominican Republic

miley The Dominican Republic government commission has banned Miley Cyrus’ concert in the capital city Santo Domingo that was supposed to take place on September 13.

The commission that oversees public performances said in a statement that it took the action because the singer often “undertakes acts that go against morals and customs, which are punishable by Dominican law.”

Some critics think that Miley’s onstage behavior, including twerking and crotch-grabbing, is vulgar.

Tickets ranging from $27 to $370 for the concert in Santo Domingo have been on sale since July.

No statements have been made either by Miley or her representatives.
