Cosmopolitan’s cover girl for the December issue is Miley Cyrus, who was also interviewed for the magazine’s feature story.
In the interview, Miley talks about being single, about the people criticizing her and her place in the music industry.
“I need to treat my music like a relationship, give it my time and all the attention it deserves and that’s my main love right now,” she said. “This is the best time of my life. I’m not going to look back on it and be like, ‘I wish I hadn’t been dwelling over a breakup,’ you know? Because that’s not what God wants my life to be about right now. God wants my life to be about being successful and being happy and blessing other people and being blessed.”
Cyrus also discussed her haters who constantly criticize everything she does, stating, “Even people who want to hate on me, they can’t even shut down the fact that I’m literally what everyone is talking about.”
However, the former Disney star doesn’t feel on top of the music industry yet. “It’s almost punk rock to like me because it’s not the right thing to do. Society wants to shut me down,” she said.
Miley, God doesn’t want to see you half naked on the stage! He would shut you down for your own happiness. What you do on stage and in your latest music video has nothing to do with music. Well, I admit the fact you sing perfectly well, but the why you show all this up, just kills every attempt to like what you do. If you love music, just do the music and you will see how people will love you again. Now what you do is just black PR and your ugly attitude and behavior is what keeps you being discussed lately.
