Nicolas Cage says he loves making family movies. The actor, who has two sons, enjoys working on such projects because they unite and entertain the whole family.

He said: ”I think it’s important to entertain families. It gives families something to do with their children. Where the adults can also be entertained. I enjoyed making The Croods. But I like that ritual, that celebration. That kids are going to a movie and their mother’s going to laugh too and were going to get popcorn. There’s creativity going into making those movies. I’m not a snob, if you can tell.”
