Nicole Kidman paid a million for the soundtrack to the film

American actress Nicole Kidman has received an offer from Bollywood from director Rumi Jeffery to record a song for his new film. For this work, Rumi offered to Nicole one million dollars. “We sent Nicole Kidman song and asked her to perform this song. The actress gave a positive response. Now we need to agree on dates”- said Rumi Jeffery. This is the soundtrack to the movie “The thief on the street” (“Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai”).First, the filmmakers offered to record a song singer Shakira, but this idea was abandoned for financial reasons. How much the Colombian singer asked for this work, not reported, but the 44-year-old Kidman has agreed to 50 million Indian rupees, which amounts to nearly one million U.S. dollars. “The thief on the street” – is a Bollywood’s big-budget film, which tells the story of a comic man, who became a victim of corruption. The main roles in the film will perform Akshaye Khanna and Mugdha Godse. Nicole is not the first time will serve as a singer – in 2001 she, along with Robbie Williams recorded a cover version of the song “Something Stupid”, and the song became a Christmas hit in the UK. In the same year she starred in the musical “Moulin Rouge”, her party “Come What May” also became popular.
