Oprah Winfrey selling Harpo Studios

The TV studio in Chicago, where Oprah Winfrey filmed ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ from 1990 to 2011, is about to be sold to a developer.

The transaction is expected to be finalized within the next 30 days.

A Harpo spokesman tells Crain’s Chicago Business, “We have entered into a purchasing agreement with Sterling Bay for the four-building Harpo Studios campus in Chicago’s West Loop. We expect the transaction to be closed in 30 days. The property will be leased back to Harpo for two years, and the studio will continue to produce programming for Own (Oprah Winfrey Network).”

The studio lot will be sold for around $32 million.

Oprah Winfrey is a damn gorgeous woman that has achieved s much in life and as taught is many people love and generosity. She is the bright example of love and charity to others. I admire this woman and I wished I could see her in flesh one day and even maybe hold her hand.
