Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey might finally get married.
More than 20 years after they got engaged, Oprah’s fiancé Stedman Graham decided to ask her to marry him again, following their emotional trip to Nelson Mandela’s funeral together.
A source said: ”It was a highly emotional journey for Oprah, who loved Mandela and everything he stood for. During this time of grief there was only one person in the world she turned to – her Stedman. It was a spiritual mission and Stedman held her close during the funeral service. He realized right then and there he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Oprah as a married couple.”
Friends have been urging Stedman to ask Oprah to marry him again on her 60th birthday, this January, and he is very keen on the idea. He is sure he wants to spend the rest of his life with her.
”Stedman feels the two are soul mates, they’ve lasted together this long and should finally make it official. Stedman also realized that when their days end, he wants to be buried next to Oprah and knows that will only happen if they wed,” the insider added.
Stedman Graham is such a romantic and loving and caring man. 20 years together after proposal to another one, I think Oprah should say ‘yes’ to him. Still, we will wait for her 60th birthday and wait what she replies. I believe they lived the entire life together already and I hope they have many more days to come and live happily as a wed couple. I also hope they will get buried together when the time comes.
I hope ‘yes’ will be Oprah’s response. Such a touching love story and almost the entire life together. Why not being buried together when the time comes? I find it so romantic. Oprah is definitely the luckiest and the happiest woman on earth, despite her true hardships in the past. I want to see her in a wedding dress with a happy smile on her face.
