Paul Walker dies in car crash

paul-walker-fast-furious-6-premiere_3650687 Actor Paul Walker, who shot to fame as star of the hit franchise Fast & Furious, died in a car crash, aged 40.

The accident happened north of Los Angeles and Walker was in the passenger seat of a friend’s Porsche. Paul and his friend were driving to a charity event for his organization, Reach Out Worldwide.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department confirmed when officers arrived at the scene, they found the vehicle had gone up in flames and two people were pronounced dead.

The Sheriff’s Department said that speed was a factor in the crash, when the driver lost control.

paul_walker_5513834A statement on Paul’s Facebook page said: ”It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time.’

‘Vin Diesel posted a photograph of him and Walkeron Instagram with the message: ”Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless.”

    I am absolutely speechless as Vin Diesel wrote. He was such a handsome man and brilliant actor. I will miss him. Fats and Furious is one of my favorite movies. I will watch these movies again all in a row to see him ‘alive’. Paul Walker RIP. All Pauls’ friends, relatives and close people, please accept my sincere condolences.

    Such a great loss! What a brilliant actor! Such a dram in life of his close ones! Condolences to all Paul Walker’s family members and Friends. Paul, rest in peace! Fast and Furious is a legendary movie and I cannot imagine it without Paul. I believe there won’t be a sequel.
