Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe sell shared property

Chris Polk Seven years after their divorce Reese Witherspoon and her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe have finally sold their shared Los Angeles property.

The former couple originally bought the California duplex for $1.2 million in 2005 and they put the house on the market last December for $1.4 million.

According to Hollywood Reporter, they sold the property, earning a profit of $266,500.

Reese met Ryan at her 21st birthday party in March 1997. They became engaged in December 1998 and married on June 5, 1999, at Old Wide Awake Plantation.

They have two children, Ava Elizabeth Phillippe and Deacon Reese Phillippe.

In October 2006, Witherspoon and Phillippe announced that they had decided to separate. The following month, Witherspoon filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

    It is so sad that couples like that split. It was a very beautiful couple, indeed, very talented too. I wonder what the irreconcilable differences were. Well, the rest is mystery. The final selling is done and nothing unites these two hearts that used to beat simultaneously once upon a time. This is so sad!
