Despite his success and popularity Robert Pattinson is still nervous around casting directors and admits he is terrible at auditioning.

The actor had to fight for the role in his latest movie, The Rover, and he wasn’t sure he was going to get the part.

He told ET Canada: ”I’m so bad at auditioning and I was terrified that I wasn’t going to get it. I really, really fought for it.”

Speaking about his character in the movie, Pattinson said: ”It’s a character that doesn’t really have any constraints, it’s not really specified where he’s from or what his desires are, or really what his mental state is, and I felt really relaxed doing it because you could just do whatever you wanted basically.”

”I felt for a second that I kind of knew what I was doing a little bit. Because I just sort of fell into acting, I’ve never really felt like that before,” he added.
