Rosie Perez slams Jennifer Lopez in new memoir

rosie In a revealing new memoir, Handbook for an Unpredictable Life, Rosie Perez tells all about her traumatic childhood in Brooklyn and struggles in Los Angeles. She also spills the beans on her long running feud with Jennifer Lopez, detailing what happened behind the scenes of TV show In Living Color.

Perez says she helped Lopez land a job on the show, claiming host and creator Keenan Ivory Wayans was not a fan of J. Lo because he thought she was “chubby and corny”.

Jennifer was at an open casting call to be a Fly Girl dancer on the show as Rosie was the choreographer for the group. J. Lo was finally able to convince Keenan to change his mind only by cutting her hair and dropping 20 pounds.

jennifer-lopez_1According to Perez, she made enemies among the other dancers immediately. “All of the girls were coming into my office complaining how she was manipulating wardrobe, makeup, and me, all to her advantage,” Rosie writes.

Lopez reportedly turned on her like “some ghetto biatch, screaming and pounding her chest.” Perez claims Lopez shouted, “You pick on me, me and only me, every f**king day! Every f**king day! I work my a** off, deliver and you keep pushing me aside, treating me like s**t! I know I’m good! I’m better than any of these girls, and you know it.”

Well this is the real feud! Where is the truth this remains the mystery and the story is the history itself. What can I add? Girls, just do not pour dirt on each other, this doesn’t make you look beautiful on inside, though you are both gorgeous on the outside. Try to respect each other as colleagues and do not get the skeletons out of the closet for any reasons. Bad PR is not always good, believe me!

I guess JLo really is a wonderful actress, as she is able to look like an angel in the majority of the movies that she performs in, and at the same time she is such a bitch in her real life, but what can I say pretending to be someone else is her profession, so can I really blame her about that? Mmm I guess not, she is just being herself. I hate the fact that she is acting like this with people, but maybe it is because she have been through a lot during her carrier and becoming the person she is today, eventually all of the difficulties that she have faced all by herself have left an imprint on her own behavior. Maybe she doesn’t really want to be that bad with people but it all happens because she is not able to control her own nerves. Come on, people doesn’t it happen to anyone to be so nervous that running on with all those negative emotions above one innocent person, and of course feeling like sh** after it, yes it happens and quite a lot. I hate myself in those moments, and hopefully Jenny is feeling same way, so I will not blame her for doing something that I do myself quite often.

I really loved Jennifer Lopez after I saw a few movies with her: such as “Monster in Law” and “The wedding planner”, mm her character in both of the movies was so sweet, that it gave me the perception she is same in her real life, but now I understand that it is not quite true, that is the classic case when the physical appearance of the person is quite cheating. And I honestly don’t really like that, I hate when people are lying and pretending to be someone they really are not, and unfortunately nowadays it happens all the time whenever I go. Actually this is not the first time I read crap about Jennifer Lopez, when you read something like this once, it is ok, you think of it as of a some sort of rumor, when you read the second time, it reminds you of the first article and makes you thoughtful, but when you read this kind of information many times, you realize that it is the truth and all this time you had a wrong perception of the person, based on this person’s ability to perform at the highest possible level.

Well it is no news for me to read that Jennifer Lopez is acting like a “bi**h” with her colleagues, I have no idea what is wrong with her, but everywhere I read about her I read only mean things, that she is treating the staff which is working with her in a very mean way. I don’t understand what her problem is, she was not born being a superstar, so she should take a chill pill and start treating people around her, in a good and decent way. I read somewhere that Jennifer is changing her hair stylist every few months, because they simply refuse working with her due to the fact that she is yelling all the time. And I can perfectly understand them, there is no amount of money in the world that would make me keep working for such a mean person, I would probably slap her if she would speak in a not appropriate way with me, although I am sure it would not help me with many things, as with her money she can afford hiring a whole army of lawyers that would sue any person, even one who doesn’t have any fault for anything.
