Back in 2008 Scarlett Johansson married Ryan Reynolds. But despite looking like a perfect couple, the two stars got divorces only three years later.
Scarlett hasn’t talked about their split much, but in an interview with C Magazine, she opened up about her divorce and how it made her feel.
She said: “Divorce is a very lonely thing. It’s like the loneliest thing you’ll ever do, in some ways.”
“I’ve had a fair amount of time to process the experience and go forward,” she continued. “I continue to get to know myself better as I get older, and that helps me in my relationships.”
However, Scarlett, who is now engaged to Romain Dauriac and is expecting her first child with him, has learned a lot from her past relationships and feels more prepared for marriage this time.
Speaking to Glamour magazine, she said: “I feel I know now more of what I need in a relationship, what I want in a relationship. And I know I have more tools to communicate, not just with my partner, but with myself.”
“That’s not necessarily any reflection of who I was married to or what was happening in my marriage, but really where I was in my life,” she added.
Some wounds never heal; those are the wounds from the first love that eventually finishes with a broken heart, wounds from a badly ended relationship, as well as wounds from divorce. I guess divorce is the most painful one, as it means end of a family, and I surely understand what Scarlett Johansson felt like when she was divorcing Ryan Reynolds. She really loved him, and as any other normal girl while getting married to him she was probably picturing their future family life together, for that year, as well as for at least twenty –thirty following years. So it is very hard to continue living further after all the things you believed in, all the dreams that you had have crushed, and you realize that life will never be same again, as well as you will never be same as you were.
Mmm, something tells me that Scarlett Johansson still has the crush for her ex husband Ryan Reynolds, as somehow she managed to find a man who looks very similar to him, at least according to the physical appearance Romain Dauriac is very much alike him. The only difference is that he is not an actor, and I guess it was a very good move from her side, as this way she can be sure that her new husband will never fall in love with some partner from the movie and leave her alone and broken hearted as Ryan has done to her. I guess it was a smart move, as there is no need in more suffering, especially considering the fact that now she will always have to think at least for two persons, for her and her child.
I am so happy for Scarlett Johansson, there is nothing better, and happier than having a child, I think she deserved this miracle and happiness finally, she has been through too many hard times, even though she is a famous actress and has everything she is dreaming of in her life. Money cannot buy happiness or make the beloved person stay with you, they can comfort you while you are releasing your stress, but that is pretty much everything money are capable of. Hopefully child that will appear in her life, will make her feel happy and forget about all the bad things that have ever happened.
