Speaking about her experience on the set of her new movie Getaway, Selena Gomez said that her co-star Ethan Hawke had scared the hell out of her during driving scenes. Large part of this action thriller takes place in car and Selena admits it was scary but fun.

She said: ”I was terrified when Ethan drove on the first day of rehearsal. I was in the car and he was doing freaking doughnuts and I’m like, ‘Oh my goodness, we haven’t even started filming and I am going to die!’ He said to me, ‘I’ve never done this before’. But he knew how to drive, he was just making more scared, but it was fun.”

The young actress got her driver’s license a year ago, but admits that she is not the best driver. ”I got my first car, a Ford Escape, when I was 16, but I didn’t have my license. I just let it sit there for two years. When I was 18 I finally got my license and I’ve been driving it ever since. I’ve had that car forever, but my driving hasn’t improved. I don’t drive well, I drive slow and safe because I am in Los Angeles, and it’s crazy. I have a BMW now. That was the first nice car I got and the first people that rode in it were my grandparents.”
