Shailene Woodley reveals benefits of eating clay

Appearing on David Letterman’s Late Show, Shailene Woodley has revealed her diet now includes clay. The actress believes eating clay is very beneficial and helps body “excrete materials.”

“If you look at indigenous cultures around the world, people are eating clay almost daily. It’s just a part of their diet… because it’s really good for their bodies…” Shailene said.

“Clay binds to other materials in your body and helps your body excrete those materials that are not necessarily the best for you,” she added.

“Tell us the difference between clay and dirt,” Letterman said.

“Um, I think dirt is … they’re made from different matter. It’s a different earth material. I’m not smart enough to answer that question,” Woodley replied.

Why are any opinions or this person worth a news story? I read the story because I thought she might be someone with nutritional expertise. Instead,  just some television person who essentially advises eating cat litter.

Well, everyone has their beauty secrets. What is bad about eating clay, if it is explicable? No, I am not going to eat clay after reading this article as this actress is not a style icon and defiantly not looking her best with oily hair. Not the style I like and the way I would like to look. I can only imagine how her hair smells if she washes it once a month only. Disgusting!
