Just when we thought that his behavior couldn’t get any weirder, Shia LaBeouf has managed to shock the public again. He was arrested on Thursday night at New York’s Studio 54 theatre during a performance of Cabaret.

LaBeouf was charged with criminal trespass and two counts of disorderly conduct. He was escorted out of the theater by police for allegedly smoking inside and causing a disturbance.

The 28-year-old actor was disturbing people in the audience by yelling during the performance and using obscene language.

NYPD spokesman George Tsourovakas said: “He was being rather difficult and combative, verbally … to the point where security guards asked him to please leave the premises and he refused. Police were called and he was detained and arrested.”

Cabaret cast member Danny Burstein wrote on Facebook: “Ladies and gentlemen, this is your places call for Act II. Also, to let you know, Shia LaBeouf has just been escorted from the building in handcuffs. Yep, that just happened.”

Tina Marie Miller, an eyewitness, said: “Honestly, I wasn’t thinking of drunk or drugs. I was thinking he was working on a role, because it was that extreme. If we didn’t know who he was, we’d assume he was a bum, literally, from how he looked and how he was acting.”
