Last year, Diddy’s East Hampton house was broken into. A 30-year-old man spent a day in the rapper’s house, eating, drinking, and wearing his clothing. This year something similar happened to Jennifer Lopez when a man was found in her Southampton pool house after illegally vacationing there for a week. Former “The O.C.” star Rachel Bilson had her home burglarized a record six times between April and May of 2009, as thieves made off with nearly $130,000 in clothes, jewelry, makeup and handbags. A group of fame-obsessed teenagers, known as the Bling Ring, were behind this as well as some other robberies.

In May 2009, three people broke into Lohan’s home, but reportedly ran off when the alarm sounded. Police released surveillance footage a week later to help identify the thieves who stole nearly $130,000 worth of clothes and jewelry.

In 2012, Nicolas Cage awoke in the wee hours of the morning to find a naked man in his bedroom. The intruder was wearing one of Cage’s leather jackets and eating a Fudgesicle. Although nothing was stolen, we’re quite sure this wasn’t the most pleasant experience for the actor.

The Hills star didn’t sit passively by after news she was robbed. Patridge found a proactive approach best, taking to her blog to tell the world of the crime. It didn’t end there, though. She then uploaded the surveillance footage of a man and woman breaking into her home and leaving with two full bags. They stole nearly $43,000 worth of items including Patridge’s passport, jewelry, a laptop and designer jeans.

Using ropes and mountain climbing gear, a burglar robbed Dafoe’s Rome apartment in 2011. $3,000 worth of items was stolen.

Paris was another victim of the infamous Bling Ring gang. They broke into her entered her Hollywood Hills mansion with a key found under a mat and they did it five times between October 2008 and December 2008. The gang stole Expensive bras, a designer dress, cash from purses and a bottle of Grey Goose vodka and nearly $2 million in jewelry.

In July 2009, when Bloom was in New York City, Bling Ring burglars entered the actor’s home through a window.  They took $500,000 in jewelry, a few Rolexes, a Louis Vuitton laptop-size bag and a Alex Perry dress belonging to Miranda Kerr.
