Joan Rivers still in coma
Taylor Swift has been granted a restraining order against a 33-year-old man who has been stalking her since 2011.
Timothy Sweet sent the singer numerous letters and emails in the last three years, claiming that Taylor was his wife and that he would kill anyone who stood between them.
Among other things, he wrote: ”Dearest Taylor, I’ll kill any man who gets in the way of our marriage. My wife Taylor Swift (Sweet) and I live in Beverley Hills. I am in love with her. In conclusion, we treat each other with dignity and respect. I will carry a gun to protect her the rest of my life.”
A judge ruled that Sweet must stay at least 100 yards away from Swift and the three members of her immediate family.
Having stalkers for this kind is one for the side effects the fame comes alongside with. It is hard to be that beautiful and talented and not be noticed by people with sick imagination and not sober head. I am happy that Taylor Swift got a restraining order against stalker that was following her since 2011. I hope Taylor feels more relaxed now and doesn’t have to worry about her family.
It is understandable why such a gorgeous and famous woman is being stalked. I believe there re many followers after her. This one was just the most crazy one to get so close. With such loud statement as her being his wife I am sure the man was psychiatrically ill. Well her are special places for such people for them not to harass good and talented actresses and make them worry for their families. I am happy the court took the right decision. He better stays away from Taylor Swift now.
