Mickey Rourke’s left hand and foot were printed into cement outside the Chinese Theater “Grauman“. The ceremony was connected with the release of the new film “War of the Gods: The Immortals,” where he played King Hyperion. “I’m in a stupor from this – confessed the actor. – Last night I could not sleep because I was sort of embarrassed by what this ceremony means for me, or should mean, or how important that is. In general, I think, over time, I will realize that this means to me”. Mickey dedicated the award to his to his grandmother, who is his closest person. “She told me to be straight, expanding shoulders, and making sure that pulled out that damn toothpick from his mouth and do not look uncouth country bumpkin. She would say: “Be polite, be a gentleman. So thank you all for your love. Thank you from my wise grandmother, because I would not be standing here today without her great love”. Supporters of the actors Eric Roberts and Luke Evans and, of course, Mickey’s girlfriend Anastasia Makarenko Rourke were supporting the actor on the ceremony.
