The craziest celebrity rumors

While some celebs enjoy being in the limelight, others appreciate their privacy more. Whether they like it or not, life of a famous person includes paparazzi who follow them 24/7. It just comes with a territory. Stars also have to deal with gossip.   Tabloids, magazines, newspapers, blogs and other form of media constantly judge famous people and spread all kinds of rumors. Here are some of the most ridiculous celebrity rumors.

Richard Gere

This is probably one of the craziest and most persistent celebrity rumor ever – that Richard Gere was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital with a gerbil stuck up his bum. But the Pretty Woman star insists it’s not true, telling the U.K’s Metro newspaper that the “infamous” story is an “urban myth.”

Jennifer Lopez

A London-based plastic surgeon, who Jennifer has never met, decided to tweet to the world that he believed she has gotten a bit of work done over the years; he sent out a side-by-side photo comparison of a younger JLo with the present day version saying that he could see the signs of surgery – but noted that she looked pretty in both photos. Jennifer hit back that she has never had any plastic surgery.

Kanye West

In May 2013, OK! Magazine reported that the rapper may be gay and having an affair with Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci. Of course, the mag never followed up on its crazy story.

Angelina Jolie

Back in 2000 Angelina Jolie kissed her brother James Haven tenderly on the lips in public and everyone assumed that they were sleeping together. The rumor started after they shared a full-on lip-lock at the 2000 Oscars. They both deny any inappropriate relationship.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z

Every year, there’s a nasty rumor regarding Beyoncé’s personal life, and 2013 was no exception. In 2012, it was that her daughter was conceived via surrogate and that her baby bump was a fake. Last year, it’s that the stress of motherhood and their conflicting world tours mean they’re heading for a divorce (and if it’s not a divorce, it’s that she’s pregnant again). Clearly, the two have not separated and didn’t really have time to address the rumors.

Oprah Winfrey

Oprah is snapped so frequently with best friend Gayle King, even she isn’t surprised people think she’s gay. In 2006 she said she gets “why people label it – how can you be this close without it being sexual?” Both women deny the allegation, though, and Gayle says: “If we were gay, we would so tell you.”

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith

When pictures surfaced of Will and his Focus costar Margot Robbie in what looked like too comfortable of a shot, the first thing anyone thought of, of course, was an affair. Robbie denied the whole thing, pointing out that they were goofing around on the set of their film. But that hasn’t stopped tabloids from setting up a “jealous Jada” character who has to keep her eye on Will and hate Margot for trying to steal her man. So far, there’s no divorce on the horizon.

When Rihanna was forced to cancel four of her tour dates in April 2013, and after she was spotted leaving a medical center the tabloids jumped on the possibility that she could be a mom-to-be. Especially since she was still occasionally seeing Chris Brown, who would presumably be the father of the child – what could be better tabloid fodder than that? Thankfully, the news wasn’t true and she was back on the tour after no time at all.

George Clooney

Ladies’ man George Clooney has been rumored to be gay. He said in a 2012 interview he doesn’t “give a sh*t” if people think he’s gay. And the silver fox also refuses to “jump up and down” to deny the persistent rumors, telling The Advocate: “That would be unfair and unkind to my good friends in the gay community.”

Jamie Lee Curtis

Rumor has it that actress Jamie Lee Curtis was born with ambiguous genitalia and is actually genetically male. The daughter of Hollywood screen icons Janet Leigh and Tony Curtis has never addressed these claims. But, according to urban legend, the claim she was intersex at birth has been mentioned as fact at lectures in some medical schools.

Well rumors exist everywhere as this is what people seem to like and the famous people are the best targets for the rumors. Having read this article we realize how absurd or insulting this can be. The roughest was a gossip on Jamie Lee Curtis to my mind. Why would people invent such stories? Why people do not believe in real friendship now and that it is normal to kiss your siblings on lips? The world is getting crazy!
