Tom Cruise compares his job to a tour in Afghanistan

tom As we reported earlier, Tom Cruise has filed a $50 million lawsuit against a magazine publisher that claimed he abandoned his daughter Suri. In a deposition obtained by TMZ, the Mission Impossible star compared shooting on location to serving a tour in Afghanistan.

“That’s what it feels like. And certainly on this last movie, it was brutal. It was brutal,” he said.

But it doesn’t end there. In the legal documents Cruise also commented on his training regime, stating that he sometimes works harder than the athletes training for the Olympics.

“There is difficult physical stamina and preparation. Sometimes I’ve spent months, a year, and sometimes two years preparing for a single film. A sprinter for the Olympics, they only have to run two races a day. When I’m shooting, I could potentially have to run 30, 40 races a day, day after day,” the actor said.

I will never believe Tom would leave his daughter. He just simply loves her to bites! I am happy he didn’t leave this unpunished. The magazine that spread this gossip should pay for what was done. You cannot simply take a famous person’s name and make the news. You need to have the right source to work with, if not, then you are in trouble. I can understand what situation Tom comes through. It is very unpleasant and even painful. As to his preparation to Mission Impossible, I agree you have to work out like in hell to be in the right shape and repeat all necessary tricks, but the movie is worth it!
