Created by Anthony E. Zuiker and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, CSI premiered on CBS on October 6, 2000. Fourteen years later, it is still one of the most popular TV shows and has gained an international recognition. Therefore, it’s no surprise that over the years various celebrities have had cameo roles on CSI. Check out the most interesting ones.

Before she was known for I Am Sam and War of the Worlds, the then six-year-old Fanning appeared in the 7th CSI episode from Season 1 titled Blood Drops. In the episode, the investigators go to a scene where two daughters are possible suspects in the murders of their family members, including the father, mother, and two brothers.

Bieber appeared in two episodes of the popular crime show. The first episode was Shock Waves, which aired in Season 11 Episode 1, and the second was Targets of Obsession, in Season 11 Episode 15. In his episodes, Justin played a troubled teenager that had a serial bomber for a brother. In the second episode he was in, his character died.

Country singer Taylor Swift’s acting debut came in 2009 when she appeared in an episode of CSI. Her episode was in Season 9 Episode 16 titled Turn, Turn, Turn. Taylor got to play a rebellious 16-year old girl named Haley Jones.

The rock singer played himself in Season 7 Episode 1 entitled Built to Kill: Part 1. In the episode, he played his songs “Waiting on the World to Change” and “Slow Dancing in a Burning Room.” The episode follows the investigation of an apparent suicide after the discovery of a dead body on stage at a “Cirque du Soleil” show.

Live had a recurring role in season seven as Michael Keppler, filling in for Grissom while on sabbatical, as the head of the graveyard shift. After working with the CSI team, he eventually manages to capture a serial killer but Shreiber’s character was killed off after a few episodes.

Glamorous burlesque model Dita Von Teese appeared in Season 11 Episode 12. Dita played a character named Rita von Squeeze, a femme fatale who seduces the character Greg Sanders.

Joe Manganiello

 

 

 

 

 

 

The hunky True Blood werewolf made an appearance as Tom Harper, a stalker ex-boyfriend and killer, back in season six. Manganiello also made appearances in CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.

The Sons of Anarchy star played a diva TV star who was found dead in her dressing room. The season eight episode, titled Two and a Half Deaths, was a crossover between CSI and Two and a Half Men.

Charlie Sheen

 

 

 

 

 

 

In an episode titled Two and a Half Deaths, comedian Charlie Sheen played the role of himself. The episode aired on May 8, 2008 and appeared in Season 8. During the week that this episode aired, the writers from Two and a Half Men and CSI switched shows and wrote an episode for each other. The plot of the episode followed the investigation of a dead actress found in a busy hotel room in Las Vegas.
