If quiet night at home sounds more appealing to you than wild party in some club, chances are you are a homebody. Back in 2007, Jessica said she had no inclination to become a Hollywood party girl. “I’m such a homebody it’s embarrassing. But I feel I went through that phase when I was in my late teens and sneaking into places like everybody does,” the actress admits. “But when I turned 21 I just got over it. Got over the crowds, the expensive drinks and all the people. Instead we do a lot of dinner parties and we play board games. I love Scrabble and I also enjoy Apples to Apples, which is a mindless game where you learn weird things about people – it’s really silly and goes well with a glass of wine.”

Blake Lively

Blake never goes out unless she’s invited to a special event: “I don’t think I’ve ever been to a club other than to see a band or if the ‘Gossip Girl’ producers are throwing an after-party specifically for us to go to, or the red carpet. But I have never gone out, just to go out, because I don’t really find it that fun. I like to go and listen to live music and stuff, so that’s when I’ll go out.”

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer likes to escape the spotlight by relaxing at home: “I don’t really like going out that much. I’m kind of a homebody, so I was stressing out one time about movies and that I won’t be able to go out to dinner — I won’t be able to go to a bar and just hang out. But then I’m always lying to get out of those things anyway. So now I just have an excuse — ‘I can’t go, I’m famous’.”

Dakota Fanning

Dakota often hangs out with Kristen Stewart and she says they love to stay in: “We’re homebodies. She cooks for me. She loves to cook. I go to her house. Certainly there are times it’s crazy, but we’re also just friends. We go to Target to get wrapping paper. She has to do things like everyone else.”’

Kelis

Kelis just loves her home and enjoys spending time there, especially in the kitchen. She said: “I love lifestyle stuff, I love housewares. I’m really a homebody, honestly. Anything to do with my kitchen, or my house, I’m all about it. I’m working on a sauce line, so that’s kind of exciting. I’m a saucier.”

Rebecca Romijn

Speaking about her family life, the actress said: “We tend to avoid ‘the scene.’ L.A. is different from say, New York, because everybody has houses and backyards, so we like to spend time having people over at our house and visiting our friends’ houses.” As for going out to nightclubs, “Nope, that’s nothing but trouble.”

Mandy Moore

Mandy says she lives a normal, boring life at home: “I am boring first and foremost. I’m a boring homebody. You know what? I always like to think that I owe so much to my family. I love my parents – I have a really great, strong support system in my family and always have, and my parents sacrificed so much for me to be able to realise this dream that I had at a real young age. ”

Kristen Bell

On her relationship with Dax Shepard: “I have to do these events for my job, and I enjoy them, but on a daily basis, I’d rather get up early and go to bed early. Our idea of an exciting night is cooking dinner for friends and playing board and card games . It may sound nerdy, but it’s fun!”
