Earlier this year it has been revealed that singer Brandon Howard might actually be Michael Jackson’s son. Now, this is a bit of a surprise, but what’s even more interesting is the fact that this isn’t the only example of a celebrity having a love-child. Check out these famous men who fathered illegitimate kids.

Eddie Murphy

Eddie Murphy dated former Spice Girl, Mel B., shortly after his divorce and was hit with some unexpected news—she was pregnant and it was his. Murphy didn’t acknowledge he was father, telling the press that they shouldn’t “jump to conclusions” and they should wait for results of a paternity test. When the child was born, a paternity test confirmed that Murphy was the father. The actor had stated that he wanted no contact with the child until she was 18 years old. It has been reported that Eddie was making an effort to bond with his illegitimate daughter.

Gavin Rossdale








Gavin Rossdale was married with two children to Gwen Stefani when it was revealed that he had fathered a child with friend Pearl Lowe when he was 23. A paternity test in 2004 showed that Rossdale was Daisy’s biological father.

Chuck Norris








Back in 1962, while serving in the air force, Norris cheated on his wife and the result was a little girl named Dina. However, it wasn’t until 1991 that Norris, who is deeply religious, found out that he had a love child after Dina wrote to him. Norris embraced the girl and according to him she is very much a part of his life.

 Arnold Schwarzenegger








The marriage of Arnold to Maria Shriver fell apart in 2011 after it emerged The Terminator star had produced an illegitimate son with his housekeeper Mildred Baena while still married. The affair took place during the late 1990s. Schwarzenegger and Maria divorced. They have four children together.

 Tom Jones








The singer’s short-lived romance with with model Katherine Berkery resulted in the birth of his son Jonathan Jones-Berkery in 1987. But it wasn’t until 2008 that the 72-year old admitted Jonathan was his child. The illegitimate son later claimed that being abandoned by his famous father had led to him into a life of crime as a drug dealer.

Steven Tyler








Steven Tyler, lead singer of Aerosmith, has a reputation for partying all-night and indulging in the rock n’ roll lifestyle. When he was 30, he met model Bebe Buell. Tyler and Buell had a child together, Liv, who was initially thought to be Todd Rungdren’s daughter as he was listed as her dad on her birth certificate. Buell tried to hide the fact that Liv was Tyler’s baby because of his addiction problems. It wasn’t until Liv was nine years old and saw Tyler’s daughter Mia, that she found out who her real father was.

Jude Law








In 2009 American model Samantha Burke gave birth to the love child of Jude Law. Jude, who already had three children by ex-wife Sadie Frost, met Burke in a New York nightclub. The following year she gave birth to baby Sophia. After it was confirmed that the child was Law’s, he accepted responsibility and is now paying child support. The actor met his daughter for the first time at five months old, and as of now isn’t much involved in the child’s life.

Hugh Grant








Hugh was surprised to become a father in November 2011 with Chinese lover Tinglan Hong. The Love Actually star had a ‘fleeting affair’ with Hong (according to his publicist at the time) with whom he named the daughter Xiao Xi (meaning ‘Happy Surprise’ in Chinese). But that’s not all; in January 2014, conflicting reports revealed Hugh Grant fathered a child with Swedish television producer Anna Elisabet Eberstein in either September 2012 or September 2013.
