Top celebrity moms

When you are a celebrity it means being at the spot light all the time. Now, when you add children to the picture, it gets even worse. Celebrity moms are under a lot of pressure, and so are their kids. Imagine what it feels like being a 6-year-old and having all those paparazzi following you around. But, it’s all part of the job and these ladies know how to handle things. Here are some of our favorite celebrity mothers.

Jennifer Garner

Jennifer has made a great career but she is also known as a very dedicated mom. She makes balancing motherhood and career look like a walk in the park! Paparazzi spot her with kids Violet, Seraphina and Samuel more often than she’s seen walking the red carpet. According to some polls, Garner is a favorite “ideal celebrity mom” based on her family priorities and absence from the tabloids.

Jessica Alba

She has two daughters, a successful producer husband (Cash Warren), and a spotless reputation. Alba knows that her work affects her family, and that her family comes first. On screen, she’s played an exotic dancer, a badass customs agent and a prostitute. Off screen, she’s a mom who wants the best for her two girls Honor and Haven. And that means launching a line of non-toxic, plant-based consumer products and family essentials, which includes diapers, bath and skincare products, and home cleaning supplies. “Everyone is trying to do the best they can,” she said. “When you become a mom, the last thing you want to do is feel judged.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar

Sarah Michelle Gellar Picks Charlotte Up From School

Sarah and her husband Freddie Prinze, Jr. have two children. The actress is very active in donating to causes like breast cancer research and Habitat for Humanity, and keeps her private life private. She even credits her healthy lifestyle to firstborn, Charlotte. “We’ve already taught her to love healthy food…we go to the farmer’s market and put everything in the juicer. Now we’ve all been drinking it, and we’ve all been healthier,” she said.

Alyson Hannigan

Best known for her roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and How I Met Your Mother, this busy actress is a mother of two. Her daughters Satyana Marie Denisof, 4 and Keeva Jane Denisof, a one-year-old, are the highlights of her life, as she has pointed out many times. “Motherhood is just the greatest thing ever!” Alyson said. “There are so many cherished moments in every day.”

Kate Hudson

Being a celebrity child herself, Kate knows very well how to handle the pressure of fame and provide healthy growing-up surrounding for her kids. She says that sons Ryder (11) and Bing (almost 2) keep her down to earth, and that there’s nobody she’d rather spend time with than her parents, fiancée Matthew Bellamy, and the boys. “I’m in the phase of my life right now where I hear ‘Mom’ all the time. I love it, but you start tuning out 100 ‘Moms’ a day – you learn to listen for the right ‘Mom.’”

Angelina Jolie

OK, she might be a bit controversial, but when it comes dedication to parenting and generosity, Angie is one of the most fascinating celebrities. Joggling career and a child is challenging, but making movies, raising 6 kids and building schools in Africa sounds almost impossible. Yet, this woman manages to do it all. And she always looks gorgeous!   “Children help you find yourself and remember yourself. They help you remember why you’re doing what you do,” Jolie said of motherhood. “With them, you approach things better, clearer and with more ease, because they’re not as important as your children. I’m not overwhelmed easily anymore. As long as my kid is healthy, nothing really can shake me.”
