Top celebs who hate Hollywood parties

Many would kill for celebrity lifestyle and a chance to attend all those red carpet events, premieres and wild parties. However, some stars don’t really enjoy these things. For them, Hollywood parties are not very amusing events and they would rather spend their time elsewhere. Check out the celebs who don’t like glitzy bashes.

Taylor Swift

The singer is not a party animal and doesn’t like that lifestyle. She said: “I’ve never been fascinated by the party lifestyle. Penciling in a night to get wasted is not something I want to do. I don’t think I’d be a party girl (even if I were) in college. When I was in high school, I remember seeing girls crying in the bathroom every Monday about what they did at a party that weekend. I never wanted to be that girl crying in the bathroom.”

Keira Knightley

Keira admits she isn’t much of a sociable person and doesn’t enjoy the partying aspect of her job. “I don’t like parties much – I’m not a very social being. And the whole celebrity aspect of this job is never what I aspired to. I don’t mind it when people recognize me in the street – though it’s a bit weird when they know me and I don’t know them,” she explained. “I am crap at parties. I tend to sit in the corner. I’ll sit in the corner and find one person to talk to or I’ll go on the dance floor and get quite drunk. But I am not good at that whole thing,” the actress added.

Lady Gaga

Gaga has seen it all but didn’t really find Hollywood lifestyle that fun. She prefers hanging out with her old friends instead. She said: “I had all these number one records, and I had sold all these albums, and it was sort of this turning point: Am I going to try and embrace Hollywood and assimilate to that culture? I put my toe in that water, and it was a Kegel-exercise vaginal reaction where I clenched and had to retract immediately. I ran furiously back to New York, to my old apartment, and I hung out with my friends, and I went to the same bars.”

Emma Watson

Emma has a reputation as a non-party girl and she thinks it’s because of her introverted personality. “It’s interesting, because people say things to me like, ‘It’s really cool that you don’t go out and get drunk all the time and go to clubs,’ and I’m just like, I mean, I appreciate that, but I’m kind of an introverted kind of person just by nature, it’s not like a conscious choice that I’m making necessarily. It’s genuinely who I am,” she told Rookie. “Have you seen Quiet by Susan Cain? … It discusses how extroverts in our society are bigged up so much, and if you’re anything other than an extrovert you’re made to think there’s something wrong with you. That’s like the story of my life. Coming to realize that about myself was very empowering, because I had felt like Oh my god, there must be something wrong with me, because I don’t want to go out and do what all my friends want to do.”

Penelope Cruz

The Spanish beauty avoids Hollywood parties as much as possible and admits she doesn’t like them at all. She said: “I never go to parties. I only ever go to my own premieres or premieres of friends that I particularly want to support. I don’t particularly like the party side of Hollywood. I’m much more focused on the work side of it, that’s what I’m paid for. My social life does not centre on the night, although I have to admit I would like the LA restaurants to stay open a bit later so I could keep up the Spanish custom of long dinners with friends.”

Kristen Stewart

Kristen doesn’t like being in the public eye as often as she is forced to be. She finds that kind of attention uncomfortable and doesn’t like fame and everything that comes with it, including the parties and red carpet events. “Some people get the wrong idea, you know. If you’re quiet and you’re just not the most gregarious person, that you’re like.. I don’t know, self-involved, rude possibly, frigid. I get that a lot from people who don’t know me. I think it’s funny that when I go onstage to accept an award, they think I’m nervous, uncomfortable, and awkward – and I am – but those are bad words for them,” Stewart said.

It is no wonder for me that Lady Gaga doesn’t like parties at all, after all she is the person who doesn’t have time for herself at all, all she was ever doing is taking care of public at the concerts, so it is pretty obvious for me the fact that she gives so much emotions on the stage that there are barely left some for herself, and that is lame, as I cannot say that I have bad attitude towards her, I just consider that some of the things she does, are just too weird and there are times and moments than she needs to say stop as there are some limits of human understanding, and as far as I see she is far, far away of those limits, and it is a shame, as I think she can do much better than she shows on the stage.

I think Keira Knightley is one of the sweetest girls ever, she is very modest in all the characters she is performing and she is same modest in her real life. I saw the pictures of her wedding, and I can easily say that she didn’t even had a funky dress, she worn a simple day to day dress, one of the kind that I usually wear in the office. For me she is very much alike the character that she performed in the movie “Pride and Prejudice” as she is same down to Earth, kind and smart girl. Right now I am remembering all the articles I read about her lately, and I cannot say that at least in one of them she has shown herself from some bad side.

Poor Emma Watson, right now she is in the age when she is supposed to crazy partying or study at the campus and have a variety of friends, but she cannot do it, as she is a real workaholic, she didn’t even finished her work in the saga about Harry Potter the famous magician, in which she played one of the leading parts, when she already started working upon the movie “Noah” which was supposed to be a great one, but in reality it turned to be an epic fail, and I am very sorry about that, as I cannot describe how anxious I was to see this movie, as soon as I saw its advertising. It turned everything in me, and I even started to feel bad about Russell Crowe as he really screwed up when he agreed to perform that version of Noah.
