Jessica Alba: I don't want to be stay-at-home mom
In a recent interview for People, Tori Spelling opened up about the financial problems she and her husband Dean McDermott are facing. Dean, however, told Us Weekly that even though things are not so perfect right now, the family is far from being broke.
“Right now things are going well. I have several exciting projects in the works,” he explained. “Could we afford a vasectomy? Probably. Was it a tougher time for us financially? Yeah, for sure. That’s just the truth of it—it’s the nature of this business.”
McDermott went on to say that his and his wife’s financial state is constantly fluctuating and at the time of his planned procedure, things were a little worse than they usually are. “Sometimes things are awesome, sometimes they’re just not. But it’s about how we tackle things as a couple, as a family. And we do a pretty good job of that,” he explained.
I am happy for the couple. Indeed, they are far from being broke. I wish them only success in their careers and financial prosperity. Still, if they do not get work for a year, they won’t get broke. People just need to understand that saving things helps much. Many people live well without such great incomes as this couple has. So, this would be nonsense to worry about getting broke.
