vin-diesel-at-jimmy-kimmel_3848688 After hearing about Paul Walker’s tragic death, his friend and co-star, Vin Diesel, rushed to Paul’s mother to be by her side.

In a heart-breaking post on his Facebook page, Diesel shared the moments that happened shortly after hearing the news of his friend’s death.

The 46 year-old star wrote: “When I heard, I immediately flew back to California, and went directly from the plane to his mother’s house. I thought they needed my strength, but realized when I got there and broke down before his family, that it was I who needed theirs. His mother hugged me and said I am so sorry… I said sorry? You’re the mother who lost a son? She said yes, but you lost your other half…”

He said: “At this hard time his family gets to see all of you show the love that you’ve shown Paul. It’s going to stay with me forever, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for coming down here and showing that angel up in heaven how much you appreciate him.”

Being so strong Vin Diesel has broke down by the loss of his best friend – his other half… they were great friends, colleagues in fast and Furious that brought them closer and closer with every new movie. It is always hard to lose, those whom we love and are close to very much. I am happy Vin Diesel was there to support Paul’s family and they supported him. It is so nice to see Paul’s dear people getting together to his memorial. Plus one more angel in the skies! R.I.P Paul Walker.

It is so great that Paul Walker has such a great family that was a great support for his best friend and colleague – Vin Diesel. Vin thought he will get to Paul’s family and be their support, but in reality it turned vice versa. I am happy to hear the family and hw friends go on with Paul’s charity work and organized a memorial day. Paul, we miss you! I cannot imagine Fats and Furious 7 without Paul.
