Wayne Knight tweets on death hoax

Actor Wayne Knight is the latest victim of death hoax. The news of his death spread around the internet on Sunday via website named TMZ.Today, but the actor took to Twitter to clear things out.

He wrote: “Some of you will be glad to hear this, others strangely disappointed, but.. I am alive and well!”

“Does someone have to DIE to trend? Geez! Thanks for all the love everybody. I didn’t know you cared. Glad to be breathing!” he added.

The fake report of Knight’s death claimed that the actor was killed in a tractor-trailer accident near the Pennsylvania-New York state border.

character ‘Newman’ is dead and two other passengers are critically injured after their vehicle slammed into a disabled semi-tractor-trailer late Saturday night along Route 446 near the Pennsylvania-New York state border in Eldred Township.”

The report continued: “Kane-based state police have identified the deceased as the lovable ‘Newman’. McKean County Coroner Jeff Levin said Knight died of blunt force trauma at the scene.”

Other celebrities falling victim to recent death hoaxes include Cher, Eddie Murphy and Jackie Chan.

    This is very often thing on the web to shock people with the pseudo-deaths of their idols. Why? People need sensations, their sites be visited, their commercial been seen and so on. I still, find it very gross speculating on someone’s death. The more hilarious thing is that the celebrities than have to convince their fans they are yet alive.))
