Joan Rivers still in coma
Director Sofia Coppola wants Emma Watson in her new movie, The Little Mermaid. The two of them have already worked together on The Bling Ring and it seems they might team up again.
A source told The Sun: ”Sofia wants Emma, and the pair have such a respect for each other, it would be very surprising if they carry on without each other. Movie companies Universal and Working Title want to move quickly on this so expect an announcement soon.”
Coppola is planning to make a movie adaptation of the classic fairy tale, but it is believed she wants to stick to the original version of the story in which Little Mermaid commit suicide after the Prince marries another woman.
I believe that Emma Watson will make up a perfect Little Mermaid. It would be also very sad to see her commit suicide on huge screen, but well, this is the part of the story. Since the pair of Emma Watson and Sofia Coppola works nice together, then we can expect a very beautiful and charming adaptation of the classical story version.
Well I am glad that Emma Watson will perform in the “Little Mermaid”, I love this fairy tale, I remember than I was a little girl I used to watch this cartoon on the video tape for many, many times in a row, so even though I grew up and have my own kids now, I still would love to see it, the only thing I am concerned about, is how come that Sofia Coppola wants to make the movie with a sad end? I surely will not show it if it will be with bad end to my children, as I don’t want them to cry about it later. I guess it is a total mistake to do that, and it will surely ruin the entire impression of the cartoon this way. So my advice to Sofia would be a huge “NO”.
I see little Hermione, I am just kidding, I know that Emma Watson hates when her name is being associated to the character that she performed so many times, though I think she should be happy about it as due to this character she became famous throughout the entire world, is getting some more roles with the heroes that have to do with magic. It is a nice thing, as she is very good with the entire magic thing, I loved watching all of the Harry Potter parts, and was quite shocked with the fact that in reality she and Daniel never had any kind of relationship, as I am sure that two people who spent so much time together are simply impossible not to fall in love with each other.
Umm, I think it is a bad idea to make a movie from the “Little Mermaid” especially with a tragically end, what for, we all have enough problems and dramas in day to day life, why adding some more to it if it already is quite a lot. Well Sofia Coppola is known for being a bit eccentric, she likes making dramas, awe my God I think I will never forget her movie about five girls, who were sisters and committed a group suicidal. Hmm, I just realized that Sofia likes making dramas where young people commit suicidal, the only thing is that I don’t think it is a good theme for a child’s or teenagers brain, while the more mature brain probably will not really enjoy some childish story, so I guess it looks like or the story should be with a happy ending, or the story should not really exist at all.
