As The Hollywood Reporter says Zoe Saldana is in talks to star in the superhero movie Guardians of the Galaxy. She is being lined up to play the role of a hero called Gamora – a super strong green-skinned creature. If the negotiations succeed Zoe will join the cast that already includes Dave Batista and Chris Pratt.

The movie is about a team of superheroes who fight the aliens who want to conquer the Earth’s solar system. Guardians of the Galaxy is based on the Marvel Comics books. The director of the movie is James Gunn and shooting is scheduled for June. It will be released in August 2014.
