What is the movie 12 Angry Men about?
You know that feeling when you like the story of a certain movie so much that you just have to watch it from the beginning to the end without taking any breaks. That is the case with 12 Angry Men. Even tho it is a very old movie, some would say, it has an amazing story, and one more thing – it is black and white, everything happens in one room and still – it is a great movie! Here is why: The story follows 12 jury men who have gathered to make a decision whether or not a young guy is guilty for a murder or not. In the beginning, it is more than obvious that he did committed the crime, but as the movie progresses, the main character Juror number 8, played by Henry Fonda manages to convince one by one that maybe, just maybe, the kid is not guilty. This is where the real story begins. Sidney Lumet as the director and Reginald Rose who was in charge for writing the story have managed to create of the best plots ever. During the 12 Angry Men movie, each one of the jurors brings a bit of his own life story as they are discussing whether or not the kid has done it or not. The whole movie is about the dialogues, there are obviously no special effects, as we already mentioned – they are just sitting at one big table and chatting. Still, it is a very powerful story that this movie was able to tell. It was released in 1957 and it includes some of the actors such as Henry Fonda Martin Balsam John Fiedler Lee J. Cobb Edward Binns Jack Warden ...

This movie deserves to be on anyone's list of top films. My problem is that it is so perfect, so seamlessly polished, it is hard to appreciate the individual excellences.
The acting is top notch. The writing is snappy too. It is easy to be mesmerized by this writing and acting, and miss the rare accomplishment of the camera-work. This camera is so fluid; you forget you are in one room. It moves from being a human observer, to being omniscient, to being a target. It is smart enough to seldom center on the element of most importance, so expands the field to all men.

I am simply amazed how genial is the plot of the movie, i always thought that this movie is a masterpiece of a psychological genre of the cinema. And i was amazed by every single move in it. And in reality, i can say that the scenario to this movie has been written by a genius. Who knows the psychology of people very well, and who discovered the image of a person. It was very interesting to watch it without special effects. This kind of movies are very much advertised, so everyone can see them and imagine himself as one of those people who gathered there. It is a deep movie about the essence of life, and i wish there were more of this kind. After watching this movie i remembered that due to persistence and logic of the court members, the young man was able to escape prison. And only one person was able to change their mind, that brought them to hours of discussions upon the evidences. all the act is in one place, and it is very interesting to watch how the events are developing.

After watching this movie i remembered a scene from Lord of the rings movie, the dialogue between Frodo and Gandalf, when Frodo was discussing Gollum and mentioned that he deserves to die. And Gandalf has answered him that a lot of us deserve to die, and a lot of those who died deserve to live. Can you return it to them? No, in this case do not rush with sentence to death!
The same situation is being developed in this movie, there are twelve absolutely different man who need to decide the fate of a young man who is guilt for killing his father. Eleven consider him to be innocent and only one of them is having doubts about it. He doesn’t know the answer and he offers to discuss and think about it carefully from the beginning to the ned, while everyone else do not want it, they hate the heat and have plans for the evening. I think it is terrible how people can be sometimes, no soul at all, and thinking only about themselves. I suggest everyone to see this movie, in order to learn not to judge someone.
