Do you remember wanting to grow up as a kid? And somehow that moment never came when you wanted it to? But, now, when you are older, you wish that you could be a kid again? This is the base for the plot of this movie. Since it comes from writers Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa, and it was directed by Gary Winick, you'll have a lot of fun while watching this, for sure. The plot starts off with a young teenage girl Jenna (Christa B. Allen) who is only 13. On her birthday, her best friend Matt (Sean Marquette) gives her a present- a bag of magic dust that he had bought in a shop. Jenna wishes for her to be older, because being a teenager isn't fun enough. And after she goes to sleep, she wakes up as a 30 year old woman (Jennifer Garner). First off, she must face the situation that she is all grown up and that she does all grown up things, besides having a great body and tons of cash to do what she wants. As she meets one of her assistants and friends Lucy Wyman (Judy Greer), she gets to deal with her everyday job, she didn't know she had. In the panic, she rushes off to her once best friend, now a grown man, Matt (Mark Ruffalo). After she tells him everything, he thinks she had lost her mind, and tries to help her anyway. With two of them spending time together, they start falling in love, and finally Jenna starts getting used to being grown up.
