Chris Miller and Phil Lord work on an adaptation movie of “21 Jump Street” – a TV show that had a crazy success in the end of 1980s. The audience meets a team of police officers, young and inexperienced on an undercover mission in the institutions of higher education to take care of young criminals. The film doesn’t present a parody on show. A group of policemen comes back to high school to track criminals at the university and deal with a drug problem. The film is a light, not-serious, hilarious comedy with striking action. The style of the new film version is very close to John Hughes “Bad Boys’ movie.
