Based on the comic, that was made by Ben Templesmith and Steve Niles, here comes a movie adaptation for 30 Days of Night: Dark Days. Screenplay adaptation was done by Ben Ketai and Steve Niles and it was directed by Ben himself. This horror thriller is revolving around a whole town that is under the most scariest period ever, as the sun doesn't come up for 30 days. It all starts in Barrow in Alaska after the destruction and rebuilding. After she had lost her husband Stella Oleson (Kiele Sanchez) gets her head around what exactly happened to Barrow and if there really are vampires or creatures that are similar to them. As she carefully investigates and collects the data, FBI Agent Norris (Troy Ruptash) tells her that it was all a scam. After being defeated and rejected by the police, Stella returns t the hotel, where she meets vampire hunters, Paul (Rhys Coiro), Todd (Harold Perrineau) and Amber (Diora Baird). From them she gets more information than she had hoped to get. One of them was that Lilith (Mia Kirshner) is the vampire leader. Eager to revenge her husband, she helps them and joins the vampire hunting team. Along the way, she finds out that Dane (Ben Cotton) is also a vampire, but wants Lilith dead as much as they do.
