Based on a true event, the attack of 9/11 in New York, this movie is exposing the human side of the events that took place. Director and writer Jennifer Azano showed on screen how did the citizens of New York City feel at that moment, when the attacks started. The movie starts with the day before, September 10th. A few persons lives were shown, everything that is happening to them throughout the day. And then, it was cleverly continued to the morning of September 11th, at 8:46 am, which is the time when it all occurred. Tragic stories were told, some people lost their closes ones, some of them realized just how short life is and got married, some of them were in charge of rescuing those who found themselves in the middle of the attack, in the ruins of a building. Not only does this movie carry a strong emotional complexity, but it shows how the residents of New York and the rest of the Americans experienced that moment, that day overall. The whole movies is dedicated to that horrific day and is also a tribute to those, who died in the event. Performances of acting crew were amazing and portrayed those civilians with amazing accuracy. They managed to express not only fear and uncertainty of each character, but also hope, love, humanity as well.
