Bugs are a part of our world, and yet we know so little about them. They are always there on the spring, summer and sometimes even autumn. But during the winter, no bug is to be seen. That is because they are mostly underground. During the spring, and summer, the ants work hard on collecting the food for the winter that is to come. And each year, as they do, grasshoppers are there to take it all. It is pure luck, as they think, that they have more time, and by that thinking about autumn, to collect the food for themselves. So, here is the story about an ant colony that is having to deal with a group of nasty grasshoppers and one of the clumsy ants which manages to make the job even harder. It all starts with Flik (Dave Foley), who is a nice guy, but is pretty clumsy and isn't really good in following the orders. Unfortunately, that isn't only his problem, because that affects the whole community, especially after he manages to ruin one whole offering, which ends up in the river minutes after they gather it for grasshoppers. And as the grasshoppers come and see nothing, they decide to give them another chance to collect that all. On the other hand, Flik decides to go and search for someone who will stand up to these grasshoppers and fight with them. No one actually believes that he will make it through, but he does it anyway.
