A young writer Sam craves for love, for the One that will be a perfect match for him. Once he meets a friend who asks about his love life, and he realizes that he’s running out of time and he desperately needs to get involved in a relationship with someone. Soon he makes an acquaintance with Birdie and he’s absolutely charmed by her. Sam is a little bit confused – he wishes to take their acquaintance to a new level, but he has no clue what to do. Then he decides to study Birdie’s Internet profile and become everything she likes. That’s why he starts taking guitar lessons, learns how to cook and goes in for taekwondo. Soon enough he becomes everything that Birdie ever wanted from a man, everything but himself. He turns out to be in a real mess because she falls in love with him, but he is not sure that she is able to see him for what he really is. That’s the moment when problems start because he realizes that he wasn’t himself all the time he spent with Birdie, he pretended to be someone else.
