What is the movie A Heartbeat Away about?
A nineteen-year-old Kevin awesomely plays the guitar and cannot see his life without Rock’n’Roll. However, it is not that easy to be a Rock-god in a small sleepy town and when your father is a conductor of the town orchestra it is practically impossible. During preparation of the orchestra for another musical contest, Kevin’s father is unexpectedly hospitalized and Kevin has to take over his music responsibilities. At the same time the mayor of the town makes a decision to disband Kevin’s rock-band. Then Kevin offers a deal: if he and the orchestra will win the contest, then mayor will not disband their rock band. From now, Kevin has four weeks to remake the orchestra according to his taste, learn the rock songs for the classical instruments and turn the routine life of orchestra upside down… and for sure, his father doesn’t need to learn a thing about his idea…
