Disturbing, different, graphic and with no boundaries, movie A Kiss and a Promise offers hour and a half of pure pleasure. This movie comes from Canada and it is filmed with fairly low budget. Despite the low budget, action of the movie is not placed in one house and it is not limited on small group of people only. A Kiss and a Promise is movie about a serial killer and some weird characters that surround him. Philip Guzman wrote the screenplay with help of Mick Rossi and directed movie alone. It is interesting that actor, who had the main role, participated in screen writing. Mick Rossi put an outstanding performance while acting twisted socio path David Beck. David and his wife Samantha Beck (Natasha Gregson Wagner) have small Bead and Breakfast motel. With them lives, lost in his fantasies, failed writer Charlie Matthews (Sean Power) who is also a secret lover of David. The strangest character in the movie is David. He lives with his wife and his lover. He also enjoys having rough and twisted sex with prostitutes. While having strange affinities, David manages to look like an average, common person. When dead girl is found near quiet small town in Ontario where this love trio lives David, his masochistic wife and lover will have to face detectives. With lack of evidence police will play the game with David.
